Eidul Fitr is tomorrow (Tuesday)

The High Judiciary Council (HJC) of Saudi Arabia has announced that since the moon of Shawwal was sighted this evening in Saudi Arabia, we shall be completing twenty-nine (29) days of Ramadhan (1429 A.H.), in accordance with the hadeeth of the Messenger of Allaah:
“Fast when you see the crescent. If it is obscured to you, then complete thirty days of Sha’baan. And break your fast when you see the crescent. If it is obscured to you then fast thirty days.” – Al-Bukharee and Muslim
As per the masjid’s official policy of following international sightings, we shall be celebrating Eidul Fitr on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008. May Allaah accept our fasting, standing and deeds during this blessed month.
We will be having a combined Eid prayer with the brothers and sisters at Masjid Darul Huda this year. The Eid prayer will begin at 9:00am sharp. Masjid Darul Huda is located at:

The Eid prayer will be followed by some community activities at the Islamic Center of South Dallas starting at noon and continuing until ‘Asr time.
