Eidul Fitr is Sunday, September 20th

The High Judiciary Council (HJC) of Saudi Arabia has announced that since the moon of Shawwal was sighted this evening in Saudi Arabia, we shall be completing twenty-nine (29) days of Ramadan (1430 AH, in accordance with the hadeeth of the Messenger of Allaah:

“Fast when you see the crescent. If it is obscured to you, then complete thirty days of Sha’baan. And break your fast when you see the crescent. If it is obscured to you then fast thirty days.” - Al-Bukharee and Muslim

As per the masjid’s official policy of following international sightings, we shall be celebrating Eidul Fitr on Sunday, September 20th, 2009. May Allaah accept our fasting, standing and deeds during this blessed month.

We will be having a combined Eid prayer with the brothers and sisters at Masjid Darul Huda this year. The Eid prayer will begin at 8:30am sharp. Masjid Darul Huda is located at:
